Zac Brown Is Cooking for Cracker Barrel

One of the hottest acts of 2009, the Zac Brown Band, cooked up a tasty No. 1 hit with their single, 'Chicken Fried.' They followed that up with another chart-topper, 'Whatever It Is.'

With former chef Zac at the helm, it's only natural the group has partnered with Cracker Barrel Old Country Stores to release an exclusive version of their million-selling album, 'The Foundation.'

In addition to the two No. 1 hits, the CD will feature live versions of 'The Night They Drove Old Dixie Down,' 'I Lost It' and 'I Shall Be Released.' The disc will be available exclusively at Cracker Barrel beginning Sept. 7.

And in early October, Cracker Barrel will introduce 'Southern Ground Grub,' Zac's own food line featuring his spice rub and a 'Brown Sauce' made from recipes the Georgia native has shared with family and friends through the years. Zac is putting together a cookbook that will be available at Cracker Barrel as well.

The Zac Brown Band joins other artists whose exclusive CDs are available at Cracker Barrel, including, most recently, George Jones, Dolly Parton and Montgomery Gentry.
