Zac Brown Band are sending out a global hug with a live version of their song, 'Cold Hearted,' through Patagonia's Music Collective, an initiative started by the retailer to help support all kinds of environmental causes. Fans can purchase the exclusive track on iTunes and help support Urban Farmers, the charity chosen by the band, at the same time. Urban Farmers encourages the establishment of gardens on unused land to help eradicate hunger and create an economically sustainable system to uplift communities around the world.

Zac Brown Band join Maroon 5, Pearl Jam and several other artists in donating tracks to the music program, which recently kicked off with 20 tracks available for 99 cents. The songs can be purchased here, with a different artist's song featured each week.

The long-term project was designed by Patagonia to not only raise money for various environmental causes of each artist's choice, but also to raise awareness among its consumers about global environmental concerns.
