Walk Off the Earth, ‘I Knew You Were Trouble’ Video: Cover Band Beatboxes to Taylor Swift Hit
It's not very often a band becomes famous for covering other artists' songs, but Walk Off the Earth isn't your typical cover band.
The WOTE band members are all multi-instrumentalists -- with some of them even playing multiple instruments at the same time. Their cover of Gotye's "Somebody That I Used to Know," which features all five bandmates playing the same guitar, has more than 143 million hits on YouTube. (Watch it here.) They've also covered Adele's "Someone Like You" and Maroon 5's "Payphone" using their musical multi-tasking skills. But Walk Off the Earth's latest cover features no instruments other than their voices. They've come out with a unique version of Taylor Swift's "I Knew You Were Trouble," complementing their lead singer's vocals with beatboxing! In fact, Canadian beatbox champion Terry "KRNFX" Im joins the group about 40 seconds into the song. Watch their bizarrely impressive performance below.
