Vince Gill knows how to party! In celebration of his 25 years as a Grand Ole Opry member, the country icon will be performing two special shows.

On Aug. 13, the singer will take the stage for two concerts to commemorate his induction into the country music institution. Gill joined the Opry on Aug. 10, 1991, and remains one of the Grand Ole Opry's most frequent and well-loved players.

“We’re excited ... about celebrating his entire Opry career to date later this year,” says Opry Vice President and General Manager Pete Fisher. “We’ve had a preview of some of Vince’s new music at the Opry over the past few months, and it has been a reminder of why he has been an award-winning artist and a favorite of fans and fellow artists alike for more than a quarter century.”

Fans can purchase tickets to Gill’s 25th Grand Ole Opry anniversary shows now at Opry.com.

Gill's newest album, Down to My Last Bad Habit, is out now. The singer-songwriter was heavily involved with the project: He co-wrote, co-produced and plays on all 12 of the disc's tracks. Some of country's hottest stars are featured on the project as well: One song, “My Favorite Movie,” was co-written with Ashley Monroe; “I’ll Be Waiting for You” features Cam; and the record’s lead single, “Take Me Down,” features Little Big Town.
