Tracy Lawrence will be holding his 5th annual 'Mission Possible' Turkey Fry at the Nashville Rescue Mission Tuesday, November 23. With just a handful of friends and five fryers in 2006, Tracy hit his goal of frying 100 turkeys and getting more than 800 birds donated during the first year of the event. Over the past four years, Mission Possible has provided 32,592 meals for the homeless and funds raised for the Nashville Rescue Mission have exceeded $50,000.

This year, Tracy will be joined by several friends and celebrities, including Brad Arnold of 3 Doors Down, Lorrie Morgan, the LoCash Cowboys, Burns & Poe, the Titans Cheerleaders and GAC-TV's Suzanne Alexander, among many others.

"My job at home during the holidays is to deep-fry all of the turkeys for our gatherings," Tracy told The Boot. "I decided that I could take something that I enjoy doing and turn it into an awareness campaign for the Mission. My experience in getting to know the works of the Nashville Rescue Mission made me want to help. It made me want to work to increase public awareness of the Mission and to support its efforts and those of its workers and its volunteers."

Tracy has a handful of tour dates before he gets his deep fryers rolling. Saturday, October 23, he makes a stop in Lynchburg, Va. Click here for more Tracy Lawrence tour dates.
