Country artists pour their heart and soul into their live shows, and their hard work is paying off. Several superstars have been recognized by Pollstar for their concerts, which drew sold-out crowds night after night in 2012.

Carrie Underwood was named the Top Female Country Touring Artist of 2012, according to the trade publication. The Oklahoma native's Blown Away tour, which included Hunter Hayes as her opening act, played 62 shows all across the United States, as well as in Canada, the U.K. and Australia.

Fellow country superstars Eric Church, Jason Aldean and Kenny Chesney and Tim McGraw also earned high praise for their multi-city treks. The men were each mentioned on Pollstar's Worldwide Ticket Sales Chart. They join an elite group of artists named on the list, including Bruce Springsteen, the Dave Matthews Band, Madonna, Coldplay, Metallica and Roger Waters.

"I'm blown away," Eric says. "This whole year ... it's like all of a sudden we've had so many things happen that we've been waiting on for a long time. It's like it's happened all at once. But when you put out a record or when you put a tour on sale, you never really know. It's a leap of faith. We've always really trusted our fans to be there for us, and especially in this case."

Thankfully, all of these artists can be seen in 2013 as well. Carrie will resume her Blown Away tour on Feb. 13 in Colorado. Jason's Night Train tour kicks off Feb. 21 in Louisiana, while Eric will join Kenny on his No Shoes Nation tour, which begins March 16 in Tampa, Fla. Tim is currently performing in Las Vegas with his wife, Faith Hill, but says he will hit the road again this summer as well.
