Toby Keith Goes ‘Somewhere Else’ for Next Single

"It's one of my favorite songs," Toby Keith tells The Boot of his latest single, 'Somewhere Else,' released to country radio today (February 15).

"'Somewhere Else' is a song that me and Bobby Pinson wrote and the second we finished it, I said, 'That's got to be a single,'" Toby continues. "I really like the cleverness of the word play in it and how quick the story develops in your head. It illustrates itself in your mind pretty quick, and the melody is infectious."

The third single from the country mogul's 'Bullets in the Gun' album, 'Somewhere Else' is about a guy whose post-heartbreak nightly ritual is going to his neighborhood watering hole to drown his sorrows before going home alone. Watch Toby perform 'Somewhere Else' live in our studio below.
