If we've learned anything from Thomas Rhett's recent Tangled Up track previews -- first "Vacation," then "T-Shirt" and now "I Feel Good" -- it's that he wasn't lying when he said that his sophomore album would be funky.

"I Feel Good," Rhett's collaboration with LunchMoney Lewis, continues his trend of uptempo tunes and funky beats. The song's lyrics include lines like, "I got no motivation / Except for recreation / Feels like I'm on vacation / That's right / I feel good today / Can't nobody bring me down / And I just got paid, and I think I'm gonna hit the town / Yeah, my problems can wait 'til tomorrow / 'Cause I feel good ..." Lewis provides a guest verse near the end of the track.

In the "I Feel Good" music video -- one of multiple clips that Rhett is premiering ahead of Tangled Up's release on Sept. 25 -- the singer is walking around city streets and through a concert venue, headphones covering his ears. He sings along to the song, high-fives passers-by and even buys a bouquet of flowers and hands them to a stranger; shots of Rhett backstage and on his bus with his band are interspersed.

“I didn’t grow up listening to just one style of music. So, I don’t know how to write just one style of music,” Rhett says. “Whether these songs have more of a pop influence or more of a hip-hop influence or a completely country influence, they all — in some crazy way — cohesively sound like a ‘me song.’”

On Oct. 29, Rhett and Brett Eldredge will head out on their co-headlining CMT on Tour trek, with Danielle Bradbery as their opening act.
