While the Band Perry are known to support their four-legged friends through the Double Dog Dare campaign, that isn't the only charitable cause the trio support. This year's ACM New Artist winners will host the VH1 Save the Music Songwriter Series June 2 in Nashville.

Proceeds from the concert go to the VH1 Save the Music Foundation, which works to restore vital music programs in the public school system, providing a comprehensive, well-rounded education to all students. Having started their own careers at a young age, the cause undoubtedly strikes a chord with the sibling trio.

"I was 15 years old when I fronted my first band, the High School Boys, and Neil was eight and Reid was 10," lead singer Kimberly tells The Boot. "They had their own band, as well. Neil was on drums back then, and they found this adorable little lead singer and guitar player and their band would open all the dates out on the road for me and my guys."

And look at them now! The group penned their first No. 1, 'If I Die Young,' and now they've broken the Top 10 with its followup, 'You Lie.'

Tickets for the VH1 Save the Music Songwriter Series are priced at $100. Fans may buy tickets here, or email vh1stmtickets@gmail.com.

Kimberly, Neil and Reid are currently on the road with Tim McGraw for his Emotional Traffic tour. Their next stop is April 29 in Tampa, Fla. Get ticket information here.
