The Band Perry Perform ‘Gentle on My Mind’ at 2014 CMA Awards [WATCH]

When you pair award-winning country trio the Band Perry with one of Glen Campbell's most-loved songs, you get pure country magic at the 2014 CMA Awards.

Kimberly, Reid and Neil Perry took the stage dressed to the nines. The boys both looked sharp as always, in dark suits, and Kimberly was absolutely stunning in a glitter-filled dress that sparkled with every move. Their ultra-smooth vocals were the perfect fit for the timeless song, which won four Grammy Awards in 1968.

The huge smiles on their faces said everything: TBP was having the time of their lives on the stage, and fans were equally excited about hearing the song in a new, more modern, but still completely timeless, way.

'Gentle on My Mind' is the band's new single, and they're thoroughly enjoying it as part of their repertoire.

"What a beautiful lyric," Kimberly says. "Every time we're singing it in our three-part family harmony, it feels like we're are singing a poem. It's one of the most beautiful lyrics to ever come out of this format, and it's truly an honor to honor Glen with this song, and it's a cool creative musical moment for the three of us as well."

Adds Neil, "It really shows the amazing power that song has to span the amount of time since it was first recorded. I'd be interested to know how many weeks it's been on the charts. It's just been so relevant all of these years."
