Everyone has those songs that they jam out to with their windows down and their sunglasses on. They might be about boating or beaches, or they could be about heartbreak, summer romance or revenge -- but no matter what, every good summer song needs to be something that you can groove to, a tune that makes you break out in song (and maybe even dance) from the very first note.
Will Hoge is a Southern man through and through, but he believes that he can show pride in his heritage without the use of the Confederate flag. The singer-songwriter recently penned a new song, "Still a Southern Man," as a way of showing his own journey from waving the flag to walking away from it.
Much like his other projects, Will Hoge penned all of the songs on his newest album, Small Town Dreams -- but not because he doesn't value the talents of other songwriters. Rather, he says that it's the only way he knows how to make music.
