Chris Young

Chris Young was born and raised in Murfreesboro, Tenn., right outside of Nashville. The artist began his musical career during his childhood, performing all throughout his school years and into college. He established a good fan base and played live nearly every weekend, but it wasn't until Young won on Season 4 of the TV talent show 'Nashville Star' in 2006 that he started gaining momentum nationally. As part of his prize from the show, Young signed with RCA Records, and released his eponymous debut project in October of 2006; in 2009, he released his sophomore album, 'The Man I Want to Be', which gave Young his first No. 1 hit. "Gettin' You Home (The Black Dress Song)" kicked off a string of five consecutive chart-topping singles. In 2016, Young's duet with Cassadee Pope, "Think of You," became a Top 40 hit on the pop charts in addition to hits country chart success; that same year, Young launched his I'm Comin' Over World Tour, with Pope serving as his opening act.
