Sara Evans has been tapped to headline the 2011 Cattlemen's Ball in West Point, Neb. to raise money for medical research. The annual ball will be held June 3 - 4. Ninety percent of the funds raised will be donated to the University of Nebraska Medical Center's Eppley Cancer Center for cancer research. The remainder of the funds raised will be donated to local health and wellness programs.

Last year's headliner, Randy Travis, raised more than $1 million.

The Cattlemen's Ball was established to promote beef in a healthy diet, to showcase rural Nebraska, and to raise money for medical research. Among the activities scheduled for this year's event will be a prime rib dinner, a dance, craft fair, fashion show and silent auction.

Sara's sixth studio album, 'Stronger' will drop March 8. The album's second single, 'A Little Bit Stronger' was released in September this year, and was also featured on the soundtrack for the 2010 film, 'Country Strong.'
