Miranda Lambert took to the 2016 CMA Awards stage to perform her song "Vice," and to once again prove that she is a huge force to be reckoned within the music world.

Lambert made a dramatic visual entrance, first standing, dressed completely in black, against a gorgeous red curtain. From there, the curtain rose, and Lambert's band was revealed, standing in front of dated wallpaper, giving the performance a sort of old-timey country saloon feel.

As the song progressed, Lambert was solely illuminated by a spotlight, adding to the power of the song's lyrics and Lambert's raw emotion. When the song wrapped, Lambert was met with a standing ovation as she mouthed "Thank you" to her peers out in the audience.

“Vice” was written by Lambert, Shane McAnally and Josh Osborne.

Lambert is a 12-time CMA Awards winner who has taken home the title of Female Vocalist of the Year six years and (possibly) counting; she's also nominated in 2016! This year, Lambert toured nonstop, both with Kenny Chesney on the 2016 Spread the Love tour and on her own for her sixth headlining stint, the Keeper of the Flame tour. The latter is named after a song on Lambert's forthcoming album, which will be released on Nov. 18.
