The dominance of country music's power couple continues. Not long after Blake Shelton won his fifth straight Male Vocalist of the Year honor at the 2014 CMA Awards, Miranda Lambert matched her husband by winning her fifth consecutive Female Vocalist of the Year honor.

Lambert had already won Album, Single and Musical Event of the Year when she walked up to accept her fourth trophy of the night.

"I just can't believe that I'm standing here," she told the crowd. "I can't believe this is my life. This is what I get to do for a living. This is my job!"

As she started to cry, Lambert added, "Thank you so much for letting me live my dream and for believing in my art. It means the world to me."

Lambert's five consecutive wins are the most in history of the Female Vocalist category. She led all artists with nine nominations this year.
