Maddie & Tae are a force to be reckoned with. The duo released their "Fly" music video -- only their second video ever -- in late February, and already, it's earned a spot in The Boot's Video Shootout Hall of Fame.

"Fly" began its Video Shootout run in early March, against one-week champions Home Free, as well as Blackberry Smoke. After an intense week of voting, Maddie & Tae emerged victorious, with just over 64 percent of votes. The following week, the duo went up against Shania Twain and Gwen Sebastian, defeating both by earning 64.81 percent of votes.

In its third week, "Fly" earned 53.21 percent of votes against Old Crow Medicine Show and Frankie Ballard, and for their final victory, Maddie & Tae notched 64.88 percent of votes against Luke Bryan and Casey James.

"Fly" is Maddie & Tae's sophomore single (and, as previously mentioned, also their sophomore music video), following their wildly successful "Girl in a Country Song," the video for which is also in the Video Shootout Hall of Fame.

“Just like we didn’t want our second single to be like our first one, we didn’t want our second video to be anything like our first one, which was so fun,” Tae Dye says. “I think [director] Brian [Lazarro] really took the idea of how vulnerable you feel when you’re trying and it’s crazy … and found ways that weren’t literal to represent that."

The tune comes off the duo's debut EP, and it will also be on their forthcoming debut album, Start Here, which is set for release on June 2.

Maddie & Tae are nominated for an ACM Award for Vocal Duo of the Year. This summer, they will be serving as one of the opening acts on Dierks Bentley‘s 2015 Sounds of Summer Tour.

Congratulations, Maddie & Tae!
