Mac McAnally Wins 10th Musician of the Year Award at the 2015 CMA Awards

Mac McAnally took home his 10th Musician of the Year trophy at the 2015 CMA Awards.

This win is McAnally's eighth consecutive Musician of the Year win. Last year, with his seventh consecutive win, the guitarist broke the record for most wins in the category.

McAnally is a member of Jimmy Buffett‘s backing band, the Coral Reefer Band, in addition to a well-known songwriter and artist; he recently released a new album.

Also nominated for Musician of the Year at the 2015 CMA Awards were Sam Bush (mandolin), Jerry Douglas (dobro), Paul Franklin (steel guitar) and Dann Huff.
