Luke Bryan began the release day of his brand-new album, Kill the Lights, with a concert in Central Park for Good Morning America. Among the songs he performed on Friday morning (Aug. 7) was the record's newly announced second single, "Strip It Down."

After chatting with GMA host Amy Robach about his new project and life at home with his wife, two sons and nephew Til, Bryan sat center stage at a piano to sing the new song, which is mellow but features an R&B-tinged beat.

“Let it out / Tell me right now / Everything I need / In them white cotton sheets,” Bryan sings in "Strip It Down," a song about turning off the distractions of daily life to find some excitement between the sheets. “Dirty dance me slow / In the summertime heat / Feel my belt turn loose / From these old blue jeans.”

Bryan will end Kill the Lights' release day with a concert as well. The Georgia native will be performing at Irving Plaza in New York City on Friday night, and the show will be live streamed on Yahoo Screen’s Live Nation channel beginning at 9PM ET.

“I am so excited to be getting this new music out to my fans and cannot wait to be onstage and enjoy the album release night with them,” Bryan says.

Kill the Lights is available now from iTunesAmazon and Target; the Target edition includes three additional songs not available through other outlets. Bryan's first single from the project, "Kick the Dust Up," recently hit No. 1.
