Luke Bryan is getting ready to release his new album, Kill the Lightson Aug. 7, and now he can celebrate with a new No. 1 single.

"Kick the Dust Up" has become Bryan's 13th career No. 1, hitting the top of both the Billboard and Mediabase charts. The achievement gives Bryan a little something extra to celebrate this week as he releases Kill the Lights on Friday.

Bryan released "Kick the Dust Up" in May, as the debut single off of the upcoming album. The track was penned by the same trio that wrote "That's My Kind of Night" — Dallas Davidson, Chris DeStefano and Ashley Gorley — and features a simple melody atop an electronic-influenced beat.

The Georgia native has a number of concerts and events planned to help launch his new album, including a live streaming concert from Irving Plaza in New York City on Friday night; the show will stream on Yahoo Screen’s Live Nation channel beginning at 9PM ET.

“I am so excited to be getting this new music out to my fans and cannot wait to be onstage and enjoy the album release night with them,” Bryan says.

The singer kicked off his 2015 Kick the Dust Up Tour, with Randy Houser and Dustin Lynch serving as his opening acts, in May. Dates are currently scheduled through October. For a list of upcoming shows, visit LukeBryan.com.

Kill the Lights is available for pre-order from iTunesAmazon and Target. The Target edition includes three additional songs not available through other outlets.
