Loretta Lynn will mark her 87th birthday with a very special concert. Country and Americana stars will assemble for the once-in-a-lifetime show, set for April 1 at Bridgestone Arena.

Lynn's big birthday show was announced during a press conference at the Grand Ole Opry on Monday (Jan. 14), during which she was presented with a birthday cake. Lynn's birthday show will feature Garth Brooks, Brandy ClarkAlan JacksonMiranda Lambert, Little Big Town, Martina McBrideKacey Musgraves, Margo Price, the Pistol Annies, Darius RuckerGeorge Strait, Keith Urban, Jack White, Trisha Yearwood and many, many more. Further details are forthcoming.

"You have always been in my corner. You have always fought for me. You've been busy doing that; it's pretty much our story," Brooks told Lynn from stage during the press conference. "I love you to pieces."

Lynn was born on April 14, 1932. She made her Grand Ole Opry debut, at the Ryman Auditorium, in the fall of 1960 and joined the Opry in 1962. She is a Country Music Hall of Fame member, the first woman to win Entertainer of the Year at the CMA Awards and an all-around pioneer in country music.

"I am so excited to celebrate my 87th birthday with all my friends," Lynn shared in a press release. "This is the first time I've ever had a birthday party! My birthday wish has come true. The only other with I have is that Keith Urban jumps out of my birthday cake!"

Lynn has appeared in public sparingly since suffering a stroke in May of 2017, followed by a broken hip due to a fall in January of 2018. “I think people thought I wouldn’t come back from that,” Lynn admitted in October. “And they’re really shocked when I tell them, ‘Well, I’m doing good, I’m moving my arms, I’m moving all my parts, and I can still sing.’”

Lynn's newest album, Wouldn't It Be Great, dropped on Sept. 28. She'd postponed the project's release following her stroke, so that she could recover well enough to support the album.

“I don’t have nothing to prove, but I have stuff I want to do," she added back in the fall, "and my fans want me to do it too."
