Little Big Town, ‘Pontoon’ to Hit Radio April 30

Just in time for the spring and summer heat, Little Big Town is gassing up the "Pontoon." That's the title of the quartet's catchy new single, set to be released to country radio on April 30, according to their Twitter page.

Written by Barry Dean, Natalie Hemby and Luke Laird, "Pontoon" blends country with a dash of blues and a Southern rock groove. According to Music Row, Natalie got the idea for the song after her publisher misunderstood the title of another song she wrote, "Fine Tune."

"Pontoon" will be the first single released from LBT's fifth studio album, tentatively set for release in September.

Little Big Town will take their "Pontoon" for a ride on Rascal Flatts' Farmers Insurance Presents Changed Tour. Kicking off June 15 in Hartford, Conn., the trek will hit about three dozen cities before wrapping up in October. (See a full list of cities and dates, as well as other acts on the bill, here.)
