Little Big Town are looking forward to this weekend's Grammy Awards, and not just because they're nominated (Country Performance by a Duo or Group for their single, 'Little White Church'). LBT bandmates admit the Grammys offer a chance to do some star-gazing of their own, and maybe even meet some country heroes with whom they don't normally rub elbows in everyday life.

"When we get out there, we usually scope our seats and see who we're sitting next to," Karen tells The Boot. "Last time we sat with the Fray, or maybe that was the time before last, but it's always fun. I always end up wanting to meet people from Nashville out there that I've never ever met before, like Dolly Parton or Willie Nelson. I don't know who I'll be stalking this year, but it'll be somebody good. Lady Gaga maybe? I want to meet her!"

Karen, who penned 'Little White Church,' is excited that a song she co-wrote has garnered such an important nomination for the group. "That's what's cool about music: you never know where inspiration's gonna come from, or where it's gonna take you, and it can take you all the way to the Grammy awards, which is amazing."

"We wanted this so bad, we always do ... we always write music and think when we get in the studio, 'Oh, I hope this gets a Grammy nomination!'" bandmate Kimberly Schlapman adds. And that night we were all so glued to the nominations. We could not wait to find out if we got one, and, of course, we did! It spread like wildfire through our camp and we were just thrilled!"

The band is also thrilled to be heading back out on the road in the coming months with their buddies and fellow collaborators, Sugarland. The best part is that they've struck up a great working relationship with the duo, who return to the road March 3.

"It's just very creative," LBT's Jimi Westbrook admits. "There's a free spirit, it's a kindred spirit among all of us, and we get out there and it's just free and we just want to be creative and make music and collaborate. And we hang out and it's just a great atmosphere, and I think all of us on both sides love it so much, that's why we keep on doing it. And the fans seem to love it too. We're glad to be out with them again."
