Last year's 'American Idol' runner-up, Lauren Alaina, will return to the show that jump-started her career for its newest season. She'll appear on the March 8 episode, singing her current single, 'Georgia Peaches.' The singer joins additional 'Idol' alumni Adam Lambert, James Durbin and Chris Daughtry as season 11 guests.

It's likely that Lauren will never forget the former 'Idol' winner who sang with her during the show's season 10 finale. During Carrie Underwood's visit to the show, not only did the two share a tune, but the 'Good Girl' singer gave Lauren her phone number, as well as another gift. "She got me this necklace from Tiffany's that says my name on it and then 'Love C.U.' on the back," Lauren revealed (quote via Lancaster, Pa. radio station WIOV).

Now that the songstress has completed the reality show experience, released her debut album, 'Wildflower,' and released two singles, 'Like My Mother Does' and 'Georgia Peaches,' she undoubtedly has loads of advice of her own to give the contestants. However, the trick that helped the Georgia native the most during her tenure on the show, is one she came by naturally.

"I actually have the best memory in the world," Lauren told The Boot. "I can hear a song one time and remember it. Maybe not the melody, but the words. They get stuck in my head. That's the easiest thing for me. That's usually everyone else's' struggle to remember the words. When we were in Hollywood Week and we were having to learn all these new songs, everyone was stressing about their lyrics, and I wasn't really worried about it because I can learn a song in an hour. I listen to it three or four times and I can have it memorized."

Out of the guests performers on 'Idol' this season, only Chris Daughtry's appearance date -- March 15 -- is known that this time.

Lauren is currently on Jason Aldean's My Kinda Party tour, which includes another one of her favorite Georgia men: Luke Bryan. "I am so excited to be a part of the Jason Aldean tour with Luke Bryan!" gushes the teen. "I am a huge fan of both of them. If I wasn't a part of the line up, I would want to be in the front row! I am honored that my first major country tour will allow me to share the stage with two fellow Georgia artists. That is definitely my kind of party!"

Her next stop with the trek is March 16 in Wichita, Kan. Get a full list of tour dates here.
