The Season 12 'American Idol' performance finale was intense for Kree Harrison and Candice Glover and their millions of fans. The tension boiled over in one Pennsylvania household, where two people ended up in jail after dual stabbings following a Kree vs. Candice argument.

Karen Harrelson and Gregory Stambaugh (48 and 57 years old, respectively) were both charged with two counts of simple assault and one count of aggravated assault after the May 15 incident. Police were called to their residence at about 9:20PM ET, where they found a bloody Harrelson standing outside the home and an argumentative Stambaugh coming out of the house

The York Dispatch reports that alcohol was a factor. Stambaugh told police Harrelson had been drinking beer and tequila since 5AM, and he joined her with beer and scotch at noon.

The West Manchester, Pa. couple couldn't agree on who stabbed who first. Both say the other retrieved a knife. Stambaugh says she came down from the kitchen and stabbed him and then a tussle for the knife ensued. Harrelson said she went upstairs to cut a piece of cake and Stambaugh followed her, using a second knife to cut her wrist. Two knives were retrieved from the home.

Both parties were treated for non-life-threatening injuries. As of Thursday morning, Harrelson remained in York County Prison on $30,000 bail and Stambaugh at $70,000 bail. Both have been ordered not to contact the other, according to the York Daily Record.
