As proven by other country artists on past episodes, a typical visit to the 'Ellen DeGeneres Show' is generally anything but typical. During their media blitz in support of their latest album release, 'Own the Night,' Lady Antebellum stopped by the popular talk show to surprise a couple of unsuspecting fans with an impromptu serenade of their smash hit, 'Need You Now.' (Watch video of the Lady A fan ambush below.)

The superstar trio went incognito as servers at a restaurant, as the couple gushed about their love for Lady A. Band members Dave Haywood and Hillary Scott went without notice, but the prank was up after Charles Kelley's table visit.

The singers also performed their No. 1 single, 'Just a Kiss' for Ellen's live studio audience. The lead single from their latest release recently became the band's fifth chart-topping single. The title track, 'We Owned the Night,' currently sits at No. 18 on the country charts only four weeks after its release.

Lady Antebellum are set to kick off their Own the Night tour on Nov. 11 in Knoxville, Tenn., with Josh Kelley serving as the opening act on all dates, and Randy Montana and Eden's Edge on selected dates. See the entire tour schedule here.
