Lady Antebellum Extend Take Me Downtown 2014 Tour

Lady Antebellum have announced new dates and additional special guests for their Take Me Downtown 2014 Tour.

The road trek, which kicked off Jan. 10 with Kip Moore and Kacey Musgraves as the support acts, was originally slated to run through April 27 before wrapping up in Knoxville, Tenn. But in a press release Friday (Jan. 17), the hit-making trio announced a string of new dates that will keep them on the road all the way through the end of August.

“The energy from the crowds on opening weekend was like a drug…it was totally intoxicating," Charles Kelley says. “It felt so unbelievable to be back on stage together, and each night was better than the last. We're going on to North Dakota this weekend and from now through the summer amphitheater shows, we're going to try and raise the bar night after night."

Moore and Musgraves will continue on through the first newly-announced summer dates. Subsequent shows will feature a rotating roster of Billy Currington, David Nail and Joe Nichols in the support position.

Tickets for previously announced dates are still available at the trio's website. Tickets for select new dates of the summer leg will go on sale Jan. 24 as part of Live Nation's Country Megaticket at Megaticket.com.
