Lady A Perform National Anthem on 9/11 Anniversary

Lady Antebellum represented country music proudly during their national anthem performance before yesterday's NFL Sunday night kickoff between the New York Jets and the Dallas Cowboys. The day marked the 10-year anniversary of the events of 9/11, and also served as the long-awaited opening day of the National September 11 Memorial, which honors the lives of the 2,753 victims of the terrorist attacks.

The band took to their official Twitter account following their performance to share their emotional experience. "Still shaking after singing the Anthem. Thank you @NFL & NYC for letting us show our deep appreciation for this amazing country! #thankful," tweeted the superstar trio.
