Lady Antebellum’s Dave Haywood Welcomes Baby Boy
Lady Antebellum have another baby in the group. Dave Haywood and his wife Kelli welcomed their first child, Cash Van Haywood, on Sunday night (Sept. 7).
"So happy to have a healthy baby boy here with us!" the group writes on Twitter. "Mom & Dad are doing great and couldn't be happier!"
The trio cancelled a show Sunday night at the Allegan County Fair in Allegan, Mich., when Haywood's wife went into labor a little earlier than expected. The couple announced the pregnancy in April.
“We’ve been trying to read and prepare and talk and think through every scenario for the delivery and the labor and how we want to try to be as parents,” Haywood tells People. “We know when the moment happens, all hell is going to break loose.”
The baby boy gets his name from Kelli's maiden name (Cashiola) and Dave's father's name (Van). He weighs 7 pounds and is 19 inches long, according to the band's rep.
Lady A's new album, '747,' is due out on Sept. 30. The Boot extends our well wishes to Haywood and his wife.
