Kenny Chesney's 'The Boys of Fall' climbs to the top of both the Billboard and Mediabase/Country Aircheck country singles charts this week. Josh Turner's 'All Over Me' is up one notch to No. 2 on both charts, followed by Easton Corbin's 'Roll With Me' at No. 3.

Before the song was ever released, Kenny felt that 'The Boys of Fall' would immediately connect with his fans, even if they have never stepped onto a football field a day in their life. "I think that I've been very lucky to have a lot of songs do well, and to have a lot of songs touch a lot of people, but I don't know if I've had a song like 'Boys of Fall,' ever," the superstar states. "When I first heard this song, I knew that there was gonna be a lot of people that heard the lyrics to this song and really be able, not just to relate to it, but they live with it because there are so many lessons that, in life, that you learn on the football field that are very parallel with what happens in everyday life."

The Tennessee native's new album, 'Hemingway's Whiskey,' hits stores today (September 28). Kenny will perform on NBC's 'Tonight Show With Jay Leno' on Friday, October 1 and the syndicated Ellen DeGeneres Show on Monday, October 4.
