Kenny Chesney's live shows are the stuff of legend. The man consistently sells out huge venues, and when the day of the concert finally arrives, he throws one giant party. The Boot's readers are clearly happy to see Chesney back on the road following his 2014 hiatus, as they named him Live Act of the Year in the 2016 Golden Boot Awards.

In the summer of 2015, Chesney launched his The Big Revival Tour to rave reviews, setting records in multiple cities, including Foxboro, Mass.Kansas City, Mo.Minneapolis, Minn., and Philadelphia, Pa., and bringing with him a variety of opening acts -- Brantley Gilbert, Old DominionJake OwenChase Rice and Cole Swindell -- along with Jason Aldean and Eric Church for his stadium shows. Then, for 2016, Chesney doubled down: His Spread the Love Tour will hit up a variety of amphitheaters, festivals and stadiums throughout the summer. At all of his stadium shows, Miranda Lambert, Sam Hunt and Old Dominion are joining Chesney, while at his amphitheater dates, only Old Dominion are opening.

Chesney's 2015 trek earned the country superstar a Billboard Touring Award -- his eighth -- and there's no doubt that his 2016 tour will perform similarly well.

“We put a lot of thought into every year’s tour,” Chesney says. “It’s not just about bringing the music out to the No Shoes Nation … It’s about how to create an experience every year that stands out, that’s worth remembering, that gives people a chance to love life, love music and have fun.”
