The Golden Boot Awards, The Boot’s fan-voted digital awards, are back for a third year in 2016. Each of this year's eight categories features staff-selected nominees who made waves in the country music world from May 2015 through April 2016. Readers can vote for their favorites in each category as often as once per hour through 11:59PM ET on June 5. We'll announce the winners on the site the following Monday (June 6).

Alan Jackson was 2015's Golden Boot Awards Live Act of the Year, and while he's not in the running in 2016, eight other great nominees are.

Garth Brooks is, of course, one of country music's greatest live acts; Brooks plus an acoustic guitar could fill an entire evening, and with a worldwide tour that's spanning multiple years, fans clearly agree. And after a major return to touring in 2015, Kenny Chesney's 2016 Spread the Love Tour will hit up amphitheaters, stadiums and festivals this summer.

Luke Bryan's 2016 Kill the Lights Tour continues to add more dates -- and (bonus!), his shows feature Little Big Town, who are also nominated for this award. Jason Aldean, meanwhile, is killing it on the road: He's currently finishing up his 2016 We Were Here Tour (which was announced before his 2015 Burn It Down Tour even wrapped), and then he'll head out on his Six String Circus Tour.

Other Live Act of the Year nominees include Carrie Underwood, who's currently out on her Storyteller TourEric Church, who finished his The Outsiders World Tour in late 2015; and Zac Brown Band, whose 2016 Black Out the Sun Tour is kicking off on May 19.
