Kenny Chesney's 2015 The Big Revival Tour earned the country superstar a 2015 Billboard Touring Award on Thursday night (Nov. 19).

Chesney's 2015 trek was declared the winner in the Top Package category, which also featured Luke Bryan and Florida Georgia Line, among others, as nominees. The trophy is his eighth Billboard Touring Award, all in the Top Package category.

“We put a lot of thought into every year’s tour,” Chesney says in a press release. “It’s not just about bringing the music out to the No Shoes Nation ... It’s about how to create an experience every year that stands out, that’s worth remembering, that gives people a chance to love life, love music and have fun."

The 2015 The Big Revival Tour also included Jason Aldean, Eric Church, Jake Owen, Brantley Gilbert, Old Dominion, Cole Swindell and Chase Rice.

“One of the best things about these tours, especially the stadium shows, is taking out artists who’re starting to make an impact and exposing them to a lot of people. It’s like turning your friends onto all kinds of bands -- like when you’re young and music and sports is all that matters," Chesney continues. "... Turning people on to great music is one of the coolest things, and it makes putting these packages together something that’s more than just a formula or who’s hot.”

Chesney was also nominated in the Top Draw category at the 2015 Billboard Touring Awards -- the win went to One Direction -- while Church was nominated in the Breakthrough category.

Chesney has already revealed his touring plans for 2016: His 2016 Spread the Love Tour, which will also feature Miranda Lambert, Sam Hunt and Old Dominion, is set to kick off in late April.
