Kenny Chesney is being welcomed back to the tour circuit with open arms. After the singer took a year off from touring, his loyal fans showed up in droves on Saturday when tickets to his August 27 concert at Gillette Stadium in Foxboro, Mass. went on sale. Kenny's show sold out in a mere eight minutes.

"I can't wait to feel the energy of Foxboro again! I missed it this year, I really did," states the enthusiastic four-time CMA Entertainer of the Year. "The love affair I share with the fans in New England is like no other ... I can't wait to see their faces and spend an evening with them next summer! It's gonna feel like coming home."

Kenny took this year off from the road, but that doesn't mean he didn't work in 2010. He released his live concert film, 'Kenny Chesney: Summer in 3-D,' the 'Boys of Fall' football documentary and his new album, 'Hemingway's Whiskey,' which debuted at the top of the Billboard album chart.

The show at Gillette is just one of nine stadium dates Kenny will be co-headlining with the Zac Brown Band on his Goin' Coastal tour, which kicks off with a show in Tampa, Fla., on March 19.

Kenny is currently climbing the country charts with his single, 'Somewhere With You.'
