Country music obsessives will soon be able to follow the same trail that Ken Burns went down in making PBS's new Country Music documentary. According to a press release, Tennessee Music Pathways has announced the creation of the new route, which travels from Bristol, Tenn. to Memphis with stops at the Birthplace of Country Music Museum, Memphis's Sun Studios, and the Patsy Cline Museum, among others. Kip Moore, Miranda Lambert, and Morgan Evans will headline CMC Rocks QLD 2020. The five-day fest, set for March 18-22 in Willowbank, Ipswich, Queensland, will also feature perfomrances from Billy Currington, Lanco, Hardy, Jimmie Allen, Kassi Ashton, Cassadee Pope, Runaway June, and more artists. Tickest for CMC Rocks go on sale on Tuesday, October 1 via the fest's website.

This week, country trio Midland debuted a new podcast on Spotify. Titled Set It Straight with Midland, the 10-episode season debuted on September 25 and will showcase the band, studying country music's "strange, shocking, and surprising stories," per a press release. Dwight Yoakam, songwriter Earl Bud Lee, and Tanya Tucker will appear as guests throughout the season.
