Kelsea Ballerini Plans First-Ever Headlining Tour for Fall 2016

Kelsea Ballerini has big plans for the fall of 2016: Come October, she'll begin her very first headlining tour.

Ballerini's The First Time Tour is set to begin on Oct. 21 in Houston, Texas. Thus far, a total of 11 dates in 10 cities have been revealed -- including stops in Tennessee, Georgia, Minnesota, New York, California and Nevada in addition to two Texas shows -- and more are to be announced. Carly Pearce, Morgan Evans, Levi Hummon and Jacob Davis will each be Ballerini's special guests at different concerts throughout the trek, while Cam will help Ballerini close out her tour with two nights in Las Vegas, Nev.

“I’ve been blessed to open for so many incredible artists and people I admire. Getting to watch their shows and learn more about our craft has inspired me to grow as an artist. One of the highlights of touring has been meeting fans and creating new relationships along the way,” Ballerini says in a press release. “And for that reason, I was inspired to put together my first headlining tour. I can’t wait to get up close and personal with the people who have made the last few years so incredible."

Ballerini has been keeping herself busy this summer: She's co-hosting the TV show Greatest Hits with Arsenio Hall and opening up for Rascal Flatts on their summer Rhythm & Roots Tour.

“The thing I admire the most about them is, I feel like they have so effortlessly always been at the top. Effortlessly,” Ballerini says of her summer tour bosses, who call her "an incredible singer and bound to be a superstar."

Ballerini will also appear on Jason Aldean‘s upcoming album, They Don’t Know, set for release in September, and is working on her sophomore album.
