Kellie Pickler Reveals ‘Diva-ish’ Secret

Kellie Pickler says some of the most rewarding performances of her career have been on her two USO tours, singing for U.S. troops in Iraq. But while she enjoys performing for the men and women serving our country, there is one small detail of the trip that makes her really uncomfortable. No, it's not the fact that the military base might come under fire while she's on stage -- it's the idea of using toilets without running water!

"I'm sorry. I'm a country girl that loves Louis Vuitton and loves running toilet water, you know? I do not do portable potties. That sounds really diva-ish of me, but it was awful. I was not in good shape that week," Pickler says, laughing at her own dilemma.

The 22-year-old country star was most recently in Iraq in December, performing with Kid Rock and the Zac Brown Band. Despite Pickler's own misgivings about the availability of running water in bathrooms, the men and women loved her. One Marine became an even bigger fan after Pickler noticed him holding a sign that said "All I Want For Christmas is a Kiss From Kellie Pickler." He got his wish, with much laughter and ribbing from his fellow Marines.
