Kellie Pickler, Christopher Walken’s ‘Stalker’?

We all have them -- moments when we say something embarrassing we wish we could take back. Kellie Pickler is no exception.

"Oh my gosh ... I met [actor] Christopher Walken one time when I was at 'Live With Regis and Kelly.' I'm such a huge fan of his. I was like, 'I'm your biggest stalker!' Then I go, 'No! I didn't mean stalker ... I meant biggest fan of your work!'" Kellie tells The Boot with a laugh. "I was so mortified that I said that. It just came out! I thought I was going to be handcuffed and taken out of the 'Regis and Kelly' studio! You should've seen his face. He just kind of looked at me like, 'OK, creepy girl ...' He just shook my hand and walked away."

Kellie hasn't had any other run-ins with the legendary actor, but hopes to someday have the opportunity to redeem herself.

"I love his movies. I don't know anything about him personally other than the films that he's been in. I've always been a huge fan of his, and I'm not [a stalker], of course," she insists. "I don't know where he's from or his birthday ... I don't even know if he's married or has kids. He probably doesn't remember me. Either that or he has people spying on me to make sure I keep a distance!"

In the meantime, Kellie is keeping herself preoccupied on the road. She's currently on the Taylor Swift Fearless 2010 tour, along with Gloriana.
