Jo Dee MessinaJo Dee Messina hopes to make the world a little friendlier with a twice-weekly podcast series you can tune into right on your home computer.

In a podcast posted on her website, Jo Dee tells fans about the series, which will be broadcast every Tuesday and Thursday in April.

"A lot of the show depends on you the viewer," she says. "I want you guys to submit topics on what you want to talk about or what you want to hear me talk about."

The singer says "shout-outs" to those that have made a positive impact on a listener's day or even to friends and loved ones -- whether they're in the military serving in Afghanistan or at home nursing a sprained ankle -- are also welcome.

Another feature Jo Dee will include is something she calls 'That's My Opinion.'

"Those are hot-button issues," says Jo Dee, who'll be broadcasting from her home studio. "What are we going to do with six-sided albums? I want to know what you guys think about that."

But the most important part of the show, she says, are the tales of inspiration.

"I want to hear stories about people doing the kind of things that 'pay it forward.' Like a woman who takes care of 14 special-needs kids or somebody who helps the kids in their town with their homework as well as coaching them in sports. People who make a difference."

Details of the podcasts and how how to get involved – by phone, email or in a special chat room -- are listed on Jo Dee's website.
