He may sing about a "Big Green Tractor," but next summer Jason Aldean will get to know the Green Monster. This morning (Oct. 18), the Georgia native announced that he will be the first country headliner to play at Boston's historic Fenway Park. The show, which will hopefully not involve Jason battling the stadium's 37-foot, two-inch left field wall, will take place July 13, 2013.

"To be able to say I played at a place like Fenway Park is going to be one of the highlights of my career," said the singer in a tweet posted on the Boston Red Sox's official Twitter page. The ball club also shared that Miranda Lambert, Jake Owen and Thomas Rhett will join the "Take a Little Ride" singer for the momentous concert.

This is the first announced 2013 stop on Jason's Night Train tour, which the Associated Press reports will be held at more stadiums across the U.S. More news is expected today, as the performer's website has a countdown promising another announcement at 2:30 PM ET.

Tickets for the Fenway Park performance go on sale Oct. 26 at 10:00 AM ET.
