Jason Aldean scored four No. 1 songs before spending three weeks at No. 1 with his monster hit, 'Don't You Wanna Stay,' a duet with pop star Kelly Clarkson, but the singer admits that his latest chart topper elevated his already red-hot career to a whole new level.

"I feel like that song opened us up to a whole new fan base," Jason confesses to the 'Boston Globe.' "Kelly obviously is from the pop world, and when you do a song with an artist like that, there's a lot more people that are going to take notice that maybe didn't before."

The digital single quickly became Jason's third song to cross the one-million paid digital download mark, with his latest album, 'My Kinda Party,' going platinum, signifying sales of more than a million copies.

The Georgia native's latest collaboration with rapper Ludacris has also propelled the singer's career to new heights. After a genre-bending performance of 'Dirt Road Anthem' earlier this month at the CMT Music Awards, and a rush-released remix at digital outlets, Jason's received his first Top 10 single on Billboard's Hot 100, a chart that measures radio and download success across all genres.

The country superstar is currently gearing up to resume his My Kinda Party headlining tour with Chris Young and Thompson Square providing opening entertainment. The next stop is July 8 in Milwaukee, Wis. Click here to view Jason's summer tour itinerary.
