Congratulations to the Cadillac Three's Jaren Johnston and his wife Evyn: The couple is expecting their first child together, in April of 2017.

Johnston and his TC3 bandmates were opening for Florida Georgia Line at Nashville's Bridgestone Arena on Thursday night (Oct. 13) when the singer spilled the good news before playing the song "White Lightning."

“Evyn and I have been together for 15 years. We’ve been through so much together, but nothing has ever been as exciting as expecting our first baby,” Johnston told the crowd (quote via Taste of Country). “We can’t wait to meet this little bada-- in April!”

Johnston wrote "White Lightning" about his wife; the song appears on the Cadillac Three's newest album, Bury Me in My Boots.

“I’m a very lucky fella; not many people get to be with a woman like mine,” Johnston says. “I fell fast and hard. I remember thinking it was kind of like being struck by lightning. The hair on the back of my neck stood up, and I got the shakes the first time I saw her. When I wrote “White Lightning,” I sat down and put that experience into this song the best way I could.”

TC3, along with Cole Swindell, have been out on the road with Florida Georgia Line since mid-May, on FGL's Dig Your Roots Tour. A list of all of the Cadillac Three's upcoming tour dates is available on their official website.
