Jamie Lynn Spears Breaks Up Fight With Knife

Jamie Lynn Spears was allegedly involved in an altercation at a Louisiana fast food restaurant over the Christmas weekend.

Spears and a friend were at a Pita Pit in Hammond, La., when someone hit her friend with a bottle, according to TMZ; reports do not indicate if the attack was random or somehow provoked. Spears then pulled her friend behind the restaurant's counter and grabbed a serrated bread knife, waving it around to stop the attack.

Apparently, Spears' method worked. Police were called, but TMZ notes that Spears' friend did not press charges, and no arrests were made.

The 'How Could I Want More' singer released an EP, 'The Journey,' earlier this year. She also married longtime boyfriend James Watson in March.
