Jake Owen has a twin brother, and the two are often mistaken for each other. The singer also apparently gets mistaken for other celebrities.

"I get Matthew McConaughey sometimes," Jake told The Boot in our exclusive interview. "And I used to get Tom Cruise a lot, because I have a bigger nose and dark hair. When I was in college, I had my dark sunglasses on, and I went into a gas station right by my house. [The cashier] was on her phone behind the register. She was talking to her girlfriend and she goes, 'Man, you look like Tom Cruise! You sure do!'"

But if you're looking for country singer Jake online, be sure you visit www.jakeowen.net, his official website, because there's another musical Jake Owen, whose website is www.jakeowen.com. He's a 25-year-old guitarist and composer from Austin, Texas, who in addition to his jazz-influenced solo albums has also recorded with a buzzworthy pop band called Goldspot.

The "other" Jake does have something of a country music connection, though. He's featured on a new album by Sahara Smith, which is being produced by T Bone Burnett, whose credits include Alison Krauss and Robert Plant's Grammy-winner 'Raising Sand' and the multi-platinum 'O Brother, Where Art Thou?' soundtrack.
