George JonesEarlier this year, George Jones released 'A Collection of My Best Recollection,' an exclusive CD available at Cracker Barrel Old Country Stores. While the legendary singer hopes more of his albums will be distributed at the stores, he says that no matter what happens, new music will always be available from him.

"They keep our records in Cracker Barrel most all the time, anyway," George explains to The Boot. "We're just always looking forward to getting something new to keep out. Even though we don't get that much radio play anymore, we still try to keep new stuff so we can at least have it to sell on the road with us."

In between tour dates, George has plenty of projects to keep him busy including a Bed & Breakfast casino called 'Country Crossings' which is set to open in Dothan, Ala., by early 2010. He's also back in the studio putting the finishing touches on a new album which he promises will not disappoint.

"I think it's going to be a very talked-about album once we get it finished," George says proudly. "Every song on the album is brand-new. We've got the tracks down already, all I have to do is go back in and re-sing the songs. I think it will be a great album. I think it will be one of the best I've done in quite a few years!"

No word on the release date for the new album yet.
