Remember when the Billboard Awards featured a holographic Michael Jackson? Well, the 2014 CMA Awards will be using the same type of technology. In conjunction with 'Jimmy Kimmel Live!,' Florida Georgia Line will be hologrammed to Hollywood, Calif., during their awards show performance on Wednesday (Nov. 5).

As a celebration of the 48th Annual CMA Awards, Jimmy Kimmel will host his show cross-country in a special 'Jimmy Kimmel Live!' event. As he hosts on the West Coast, he'll be transported to Music City via hologram, beamed in on the Nashville stage.

A surprise CMA Awards winner from the evening's event will be interviewed holographically by Kimmel. Then, a musical performance from FGL, the reigning CMA Vocal Duo of the Year, will take place -- and it will look like they're on Kimmel's outdoor stage, when in actuality, they're a couple thousand miles away.

This special CMA Awards episode of 'Jimmy Kimmel Live!' will also feature performances by country's royal couple, Tim McGraw and Faith Hill, and 2014 CMA Awards co-host Brad Paisley.

Florida Georgia Line just landed their first No. 1 album with 'Anything Goes' and are up once again for Vocal Duo of the Year at the CMAs. They're heading out on tour in January, but fans will see them in the flesh and blood then -- not via hologram!
