Why We Dig It: For his new, chart-topping album 'Chief,' Eric decided to focus on songs his fans love to hear him play live. "I had just come off the road when I wrote this record, and I have been out there with those fans every night," he tells The Boot. "When the industry didn't care about who I was and when radio didn't care about who I was, we always played shows and we've built our career on the backs of fans. I knew that this record had to sound like the live shows."

And during Eric's live shows, it almost seems like the fans have choreographed their drink-raising. That was the inspiration behind his latest single, 'Drink in My Hand,' which he performed live in our studio. Watch the exclusive video below!
