Easton Corbin has released his new single 'Clockwork,' hitting country airwaves on Jan. 13. The song tells the story of a guy left struggling after a series of one-night stands with the same woman.

With more updated subject matter, the music harks back to the traditional country in the era of George Jones and Merle Haggard, a time that the 31-year-old singer is able to capture naturally.

“I’m very, VERY excited to have new music out now for my fans. I’m excited especially to release a song like 'Clockwork,'” Corbin says on his website. “‘Clockwork’ is a good reflection of my country roots and it shows that I’m growing as an artist. I think when my fans hear this song they will get a good taste of how my upcoming album is going to be.”

'Clockwork' is the first glimpse of what fans can expect from Corbin's upcoming third album. The tune was penned by Corbin's longtime producer Carson Chamberlain, along with Wade Kirby and Ashley Gorley. The trio are also responsible for 2013's 'All Over the Road,' which earned Corbin a spot in the Top 5.

Corbin is currently on tour with the Band Perry for a leg of their We Are Pioneers World Tour.
