Joined by Brad Paisley, Sugarland, Hunter Hayes and more, the Doobie Brothers closed out the 2014 CMA Awards with a performance of their classic hit 'Takin' It to the Streets.'

Earlier in the evening, the Doobies had performed 'Listen to the Music' with lead vocals from Tom Johnston. This time, Michael McDonald took center stage as he played keyboards and sang the track, a huge hit for the group in 1976. The country stars were content to stay in the shadows, providing background vocals as McDonald and his bandmates took the lead on the familiar song.

Paisley and Hayes are among the artists appearing on the Doobies' new country album 'Southbound,' which hit retailers on Nov. 4. On that record, the Doobie Brothers perform 'Takin' It to the Streets' with Love and Theft. Blake Shelton, Zac Brown Band and many others also appear on the album.
