For the third year, Darius Rucker will host a celebrity concert and golf tournament in Nashville, benefiting St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. The June 4 "Darius and Friends" show will include performances by Rodney Atkins, Clint Black, Sunny Sweeney and Chuck Wicks. Darius also promises appearances by "special surprise" guests.

"We've had so much fun the last two years with friends jamming on stage for a great cause," says the singer-songwriter. "I'm excited to continue that tradition with this year's event."

Event posters and t-shirts will also be available to raise funds for St. Jude and the hospital's commitment to children who are struggling against deadly diseases.

"It's extremely important to me to grow our annual benefit for St. Jude, as I pledged to help each year with their fund-raising efforts," Darius explains. "CMA Music Fest is a great time to host the event because we reach so many of our core fans and St. Jude supporters."

The performance takes place at Nashville's Wildhorse Saloon, with tickets still available through Ticketmaster. Doors open at 6:00 PM CT on Monday, June 4, with the show beginning at 7:30 PM.

As for Darius, he's currently in the studio working with producer Frank Rogers on the follow-up to his 2010 project Charleston, SC 1966.
