Darius Rucker Plays Embarrassing ‘Superhero’

Just because he's an accomplished pop and country singer doesn't mean that Darius Rucker doesn't make a fool out of himself on a regular basis.

"It happens a lot!" Darius tells The Boot, adding that the most recent episode proved a little embarrassing and too close for comfort for his 13-year-old daughter, Cary, as Dad picked her up from school..

"I went and wore these stupid pants I had that were tucked into my boots," Darius says with a grin. "I had on a really bad shirt that had 'Superhero' written all over it. It was awful! I was standing in the middle of the courtyard, and I was asking everybody that walked by, 'Have you seen Cary?' She was not happy! She wanted to walk right by me, but I couldn't let her."

Darius' latest single, 'History in the Making,' is hardly an embarrassment. The tune is in the Top 10 and climbing, on its way to becoming the singer's fourth consecutive No. 1 country hit.
